Bio:

Ramandeep Kaur Sandhu is an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems in the department of Decision and Information Sciences at the School of Business Administration, Oakland University, Michigan, USA. She holds a PhD in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), United States. In addition, she has a Master’s in Economics from Guru Nanak Dev University, India; Master’s in International Business from Aston University, United Kingdom; and Master’s in Computers and Information Systems Security (CISS) from VCU, United States. Her research interests are in the development and deployment of ontologies and disruptive technologies such as Blockchain and improving security and interoperability in collaborative environments. Her research also focuses on the design and exploration of new models for security and privacy-sensitive collaboration systems. Outside of conducting research, she enjoys daily workouts, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
