Bio:
Mark Isken specializes in applications of management science and information technology in healthcare systems. He teaches courses in information systems, business analytics, statistics and healthcare operations management. His research interests include scheduling models, stochastic modeling of healthcare systems, data mining and decision support systems. Before joining Oakland University, Mark was a practicing operations researcher for William Beaumont Hospital and Henry Ford Health System and has consulted with numerous healthcare organizations. He has published in a number of journals including Annals of Operations Research, IEEE Transactions on System, Man and Cybernetics, Health Care Management Science, INFORMS Transactions on Education, and Journal of Simulation.
