Bio:
Dr. Stanton worked at Duke University as a research scientist prior to joining the faculty at Oakland University. At Duke University, he maintained interdisciplinary research and teaching appointments in the Fuqua School of Business, Center for Interdisciplinary Decision Science, and the Department of Psychology. His research focuses on the psychological and physiological factors that influence consumer behavior, decision making, and social behavior. Dr. Stanton has authored over 20 academic journal articles and book chapters, and he has also presented his research at numerous domestic and international conferences. Dr. Stanton's research has been featured in television, radio and print outlets including the New York Times, National Public Radio, CNN, Newsweek, and Scientific American.
