1. Kept size small, expecting private funding, 20 years for previous State funded building.

2. OU submitted as Capital Request to State at last minute in 1995.

3. Stuck with 74,000 gross sq.ft. and $17.5 million when State funded it.

4. Significant Growth since Elliott Hall was designed in Fall 1994:

   • Full-time faculty from 45 in Fa94 to funded 59 in Fa06, up 34%.

   • Undergrad headcount of 1,500 in Fa94 to 2,225 in Fa03, up 48%.

   • Grad headcount of 321 in Fa94 to 623 in Fa03, up 94%.

   • CECE students serviced from 0 in Fa94 to some 2,000 in 2003-04.

   • Added since Fa94 - ATiB, EMBA-HCM, EI, & Development

5. No detailed review of Elliott Hall plan before submitting to the State.
