Behavioral Lab and Interactive Collaboration Lab

The Org Behavior faculty are asking for a behavior lab consisting of:

• Large behavioral lab/conf. room for 10 subjects - 250 sq. ft.
• Two small behavioral labs for 1-2 subjects - 100 sq.ft. each.
• Control room to observe through one-way mirrors and pass thru papers, food and water to the subjects - 250 sq.ft.

Can do this electronically from existing conference rooms and breakout rooms?

Programming Consultants (DSA) suggest also an Interactive Collaboration Lab? - 1000 sq.ft.

• This is a lab of 40 swivel chairs and padded walls. The subjects use cellphones with color cameras and BlueBerry pagers to learn to communicate with their team while pushing their chair around the room, i.e., ask Janice from DSA. :-)

Note: Hallways, restrooms, janitor's closets, utility spaces, etc. are all include in the gross sq.ft. used in construction costs estimates. The net assignable space noted for spaces above is only 60% of the total gross sq.ft.
